2 Chronicles 5:13-14 “and it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the LORD, and when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the LORD, “For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever,” that the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.” Our vision is to create an environment and atmosphere that ushers in the manifest presence of the Lord. An atmosphere that encourages and enables participation in praise and worship, allowing all the freedom to fully express praise to our Lord and to emphasize truth and spirit in worshiping our Father in heaven. To facilitate an atmosphere that invites Holy Spirit to come and move and manifest the ministry of Word of Knowledge, prophecy, healing, deliverance, signs, wonders and miracles. Our vision is to further set and establish an atmosphere that enables the presence of God to move freely in and through the congregation and for each person in the congregation to experience the Triune God (Father, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit) on a personal level that will bring change. Furthermore, it is also the mission/vision of the music ministry to facilitate: (A) Spiritual and spirit-led music that enhances the worship service, prepares the people for God’s manifest presence and for the delivery of the spoken word; (B) Anointed music that edifies, inspires, and challenges the body of Christ and further enables them to experience Christ on a personal level; (C) Spiritual music that continues to raise the level of awareness to the awesome nature of the Triune God taking God out of the box; (D) A spirit of excellence and freedom not mired in mediocrity or tradition, but music that continues to push beyond the norm so that effective ministry can take place at any time; (F) The creation of a musical sound that is unique to RofTM; and (G) Growth and empowerment that enable others to grow and realize their full potential in the area of music ministry. RofTM’s Music Ministry’s goal is to please God through our lives and by rendering worship that prompts our Father to come down and sup with us in the atmosphere that we have prepared for HIM! 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
We believe that the words resounding from the sacred desk, the words in melody from the praise team, the words of the prayers to the throne and interpreted words from the throne are the most important tools in the church service. The media team's mandate is to provide clear and intelligible sound that is distraction free to the hearer and that is worthy of the ministry of Jesus Christ. The media ministry upholds Romans 10:17, by ministering to the technical, physical and spiritual needs of those who have entrusted God's Word to us that God's words maybe imprinted upon the hearts and minds of the hearers. Media ministry has the mandate to have a heart for God, have eyes for video and an ear for sound.
